Environment : Activities for Reducing Our Own Environmental Burdens

The Fujitsu General Group is committed to reducing the use and emissions of chemical substances and preventing pollution associated with its products and factory operations.

Furthermore, we take utmost care in the selection and management of designated chemical substances in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in order to reduce the environmental impact of the chemicals included in our products.

The Fujitsu General Group strives to reduce the impact of chemical substances in products on the environment as much as possible through these activities. We request suppliers to appropriately manage chemical substances contained in their products by the Specified Chemical Substance List of the Fujitsu Group Green Procurement Standards. Then, the information on the chemical substances (chemSHERPA) is used in our internal management system to comply with various regulations.
Laws and regulations concerning chemical substances in products have been strengthened since the RoHS Directive and REACH Regulation in Europe. It is anticipated that more stringent rules will be put in place, potentially encompassing a wider range of substances and countries.

With this situation in mind, the Fujitsu General Group focuses on fortifying the management system through cooperation with our business partners.
